Two men are dead after a head-on collision in a two-vehicle crash at Farm-to-Market 90 and County Road 4007 south of Mabank Tuesday afternoon.
A Texas Department of Public Safety preliminary investigation states a black Jeep Renegade was traveling north on FM 90, while a gray Ford F-150 was traveling southbound.
The Jeep lost control for an unknown reason and hit the Ford head-on, according to the DPS.
The Jeep driver, Jeremy Lee Case, 20, and passenger Everett Rains, 18, both of Mabank, died at the scene.
The Ford F-150 driver was taken to the Athens Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
DPS’ investigation is ongoing.
