Longview man charged with 2015 truck stop murder

A Longview man has been indicted on a charge of murder in last October's Bunny truck stop shooting.

D'Mio Antunez Ingram, 24, has been charged with murder and is being held in the Smith County Jail on a $750,000 bond, according to the Smith County Sheriff's Office.

An officials in the Sheriff's office said Ingram is a documented member of a Longview gang.

In August, a shooting at the truck stop left LaPrida Shears, 25, dead and three others wounded.

Phillip Paul Potts Jr., 32, of Tyler, and Dekaylen Kaine Daniels, 20, of Longview were previously charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon related to the shooting.
