Candy Miller told the group of about 30 people gathered in Forest Park Middle School's library on Thursday night that she would do anything to have her daughter back.
"I would give anything to have the opportunity to get my daughter some help or treatment," she said.
Miller's daughter, Lacey Smarr, died Feb. 2 — just one day after turning 15 — from problems caused by an eating disorder. Lacey was a Longview freshman who began battling an eating disorder at the end of her eighth-grade year.
