John Tyler High School held its annual college and scholarship information night last month.
More than 70 families attended the event where they could meet with local scholarship providers, a college financial aid representative and a member of the armed forces, according to a Tyler ISD news release.
The evening is one of several college and career readiness seminars planned for the John Tyler community this year.
School Principal Dr. Kenneth Gay encouraged all seniors to create a resume that highlights their academic and extracurricular achievements, according to the news release.
