The 37th annual Home Products Show kicks off Friday and lasts through Sunday at the Harvey Convention Center.
Held by the Tyler Area Builders Association, the show will have 88 exhibitors, showing everything from landscaping to lighting to cabinetry. Lenders and developers also will be on hand.
“What’s unique about the Home Products Show is that it’s a chance to speak with many different experts and compare the newest products on the market, all under one roof,” Libby Simmons, executive vice president of the Tyler Area Builders Association, said.
Last year, about 3,000 visitors attended the Home Products Show.
The event is scheduled from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Harvey Convention Center. Tickets are $5 for adults. Children 12 and younger are free, however strollers are not permitted.
Visitors to the show will also have the opportunity to register for the grand prize drawing of a $1,000 prepaid MasterCard provided by Citizens National Bank.
New this year, a Chalk Paint workshop will be offered at 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday.
Cost for the workshop is free with admission and supplies will be provided, however attendees may also bring a small frame or project to practice the technique.
The Tyler Area Builders Association (TABA) serves an area that covers Anderson, Cherokee, Freestone, Henderson, Navarro, Smith, Wood and Van Zandt counties.
