Gateway to American Opportunities receives grant funds from Dollar General to fund GED and ESL classes


Gateway to American Opportunities, a regional literacy initiative of A Circle of Ten, Inc. was awarded grant funds from Dollar General Literacy Foundation that will provide fall and spring adult literacy ESL and GED preparation classes at regional sites in Cherokee, Camp, Wood and Rusk Counties.

The partners in the Gateway to American Opportunities initiative include:  Bullard Community Library, Jacksonville Fellowship Church Outreach Center, Cameron-J. Jarvis Troup Municipal Library, Christian Women's Job Corps of Rusk County,  Gilbreath Memorial Library,  Mineola Memorial Library, Quitman Public Library and Pittsburg-Camp County Public Library.

Gateway to American Opportunities' adult classes began the second week of October. Each partnering site has sign-up sheets available for adults interested in the ESL or GED preparation classes.
