Federal raids hit a Texas-based hospice company that has several locations in East Texas.

Agents with the FBI, the Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General and the Texas Attorney General’s office raided several Heart-to-Heart hospice offices across the state on Tuesday, including in Carrollton and Houston. A Department of Justice spokesperson confirmed the law enforcement activity to Dallas CBS station KTVT, but said the nature of the investigation was under seal.

Heart-to-Heart Hospice has offices in Tyler, Longview, Lufkin, Mount Pleasant and Sulphur Springs. An employee at the Lufkin office said there was no activity there, but employees in Tyler and Longview declined to comment.
