Using a portable toilet at an outdoor event such as a festival or even a wedding is usually not a pleasant experience. Helping the kids can cause even more stress.

LeAnn Cargile, of Flint, saw the need to solve the problem and started her own business, Fabulous Flush. Mrs. Cargile is an occupational therapist. Her entrepreneurial search began when she was looking for a second income to offset the cost of her daughter's college tuition.

The idea came about when Mrs. Cargile and her best friend went to an antique show in Round Top and there was only one port-a-potty for the event.

"I started to do some product research on portable toilets that could be set up at outdoor events," she said. "I found some that were on a trailer so I bought one."

Fabulous Flush is 15 feet long with three separate bathrooms. The bathrooms are designed with all the upscale amenities you commonly find in an indoor restroom. Bathroom-goers will be able to walk on wood floors, sit on porcelain toilets and wash their hands in stainless steel sinks.

"Each bathroom has specialty soaps," Mrs. Cargile said. "We also provide mints, lotions and paper towels."

Fabulous Flush has been the alternative to the classic portable toilets around East Texas since 2014. In those two years, Mrs. Cargile has been able to bring her trailer to weddings, corporate events, birthday parties, family reunions and business open houses.

Mrs. Cargile delivers the Fabulous Flush trailer to your venue, and picks it up after the event.

"The best things about this business are meeting new people and seeing new places where we drop it off," she said. "We've been to amazing ranches and a red clover field for a wedding."

A positive bathroom experience at an outdoor event can have a profound impact on the entire event.

"It's usually a last-minute thought unless you've been to a wedding or an outdoor event," Mrs. Cargile said. "Our feedback is usually how great they were and how good they smell."

Fabulous Flush has plans to expand and buy an additional trailer.
