A Circle of Ten, Inc. will be hosting a series of seminars about grant writing and research.
"Grant Writing as a Process" will be presented from 9 a.m. to noon on Wednesday at the New Life Worship Center, 18535 Hwy 69 S.
"Internet Nonprofit Grant Research" will be presented from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday at the New Life Worship Center, 18535 Hwy 69 S. and from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday at the Troup Library, 102 S. Georgia.

Silver Lake Cemetery holding annual meet
The Silver Lake Cemetery Association will have its annual business meeting and decoration day at 11 a.m. on May 16. The meeting will be followed by a covered dish meal in the Silver Lake Baptist Church's Fellowship Hall. Paper goods, tea and coffee will be provided. "Rock the Park" event set for Whitehouse

John Tyler Class of '65 anniversary planned
Members of the John Tyler High School Class of 1965 will host their 50th anniversary from May 22 to 23. The class will host a meet and greet from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday, May 22 at the Cedars of Lebanon. A commemorative service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday May 23 at the Holiday Inn on South Broadway, followed by a buffet and dinner on Saturday evening.
