A Texas Department of Public Safety response to a call of a possible hit-and-run involving a school bus on Tuesday morning turned out to be an accident where no damage was caused and no injuries were reported.
Around 8:50 a.m. Tuesday DPS responded to a call of a hit-and-run in the vicinity of Hwy-155 South near Grande.
After responding to the scene it was determined by investigating troopers that there was no reportable crash nor was there a hit and run, according to a DPS news release. A vehicle bumped the back of the bus, but there was no damage to either the bus or the vehicle. The bus was identified as bus number 23.
