Disaster Relief Team from Flint heads to Hurricane-Ravaged East Coast Monday

Volunteers with Southern Baptists of Texas Convention Disaster Relief (SBTC Disaster Relief) are headed to South Carolina on Monday to help Hurricane victims.

A crew of 4 from Flint Baptist Church in Flint, TX will take a shower unit and other support equipment to South Carolina. SBTC Disaster Relief Director Scottie Stice said there is a lot of wind damage in South Carolina as roads are covered with trees.

“We want to go and be a blessing (and) do everything we can to help the people,” said Stice.

The volunteers heading out from Flint will be working in South Carolina for 7-10 days.
