Co.Work office space opening Thursday in Tyler for entrepreneurs

Co.Work to open office space on Thursday Sept. 15 at 112 E. Line Street, Suite 204

Co.Work has brought a new concept to Tyler with a shared office space for entrepreneurs or business people looking to work outside of their home or office space.

CEO Blake Moser said he had a vision for a place where mobile entrepreneurs could meet clients or access a variety of office essentials - copier, faxes and a conference room - without having to be tied down by their own brick and mortar location.

On Thursday, Moser hosted an open house for Co.Work, 112 E. Line Street, Suite 204, across from the the Tyler Area Chamber of Commerce in downtown.

"The discussion about bringing co-working to Tyler has been for the last two months and when we found this space in this building, we knew we had found a diamond in the rough," Moser said. "We saw the open space and the exposed brick and wooden rafters and reclaimed wood and we knew that was it."

On Wedneday, prior to the open house event, Moser showed off two "phone booth-style" meeting rooms that seat up to four people each and feature large, modern sliding doors, giving the workers private area.

In addition to using shared spaces and office equipment, Co.Work also can reserve their own dedicated space - depending on the membership level, which starts at $49 a month.
