Chanukah-Klezmer concert among upcoming faith-based events

 

Rabbi Neal Katz and Congregation Beth El are proud to produce the ninth annual Chanukah-Klezmer Concert at 7 p.m. Monday at Tyler’s Liberty Hall, 103 W. Erwin St. The program will feature Klezmer music, which is the music of Eastern European Jewish life. Additional musical selections will focus on popular Chanukah melodies. The band includes some of the finest local musicians led by Rabbi Neal Katz. Additional musical acts also will perform. The entire community is invited. DINNER THEATER

Glenwood Church of Christ, 5210 Hollytree Drive, in Tyler will present "Casting Call: A Christmas Musical Dinner Theater" at 6 p.m. Dec. 9 and 10 and noon Dec. 11. The family-friendly event will include music, magic, comedy, drama, photos with Santa and a homestyle, festive meal. CHRISTMAS PRODUCTION

New Life Worship Center, 18535 U.S. Highway 69 South, will present its annual children’s Christmas production, “Special Delivery – Wrapped in the Father’s Love” at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, and 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 11.
