—Deputies charged Maria Elva Alvarez, 54, of Harlingen, with property theft worth under $2,500 with two or more previous convictions at 11:08 p.m. Wednesday. Alvarez was in Smith County Jail Wednesday with a $1,000 bond.

—Deputies charged Gregory Troy Bennett, 56, of Lindale, with assault (physical contact) at 2:22 a.m. Thursday. Bennett was in Smith County Jail Thursday with a $393 bond.

—Deputies charged Willie Jermaine Britton, 38, of Tyler, with public intoxication at 3:19 a.m. Thursday. Britton was in Smith County Jail Thursday with a $260 bond.

—Deputies charged Patrick Knight Garrison, 34, of Tyler, with possession of a penalty group one controlled substance between 1 and 4 grams and criminal mischief costing $750 to $2,500 at 1:32 p.m. Wednesday. Garrison was in Smith County Jail Wednesday with bonds of $5,000 and $1,500.

—Deputies charged Teresa Mae McClahanan, 55, of Van, with assault of a family/household member by impeding breath/circulation at 11:57 p.m. Tuesday. McClahanan was in Smith County Jail Tuesday and released Wednesday. She had a $75,000 bond.

—Deputies charged Tanya Kristine McClain, 48, of Dallas, with theft of service worth $750 to $2,500/80 days in Smith County Jail at 12:18 p.m. Wednesday. McClain was in Smith County Jail Wednesday without bond.

—Deputies charged Wesley Franklin Moss, 34, of Brownsboro, with burglary of a habitation at 3:49 p.m. Wednesday. Moss was in Smith County Jail Wednesday with a $50,000 bond.

—Deputies charged Dwaine Dale Sharp, 53, of Flint, with public intoxication at 8:53 p.m. Wednesday. Sharp was in Smith County Jail Wednesday with $260 bond.

—Deputies charged Christopher Roland Sparrow, 43, of Opelousas, Louisiana, with manufacture and delivery of a penalty group two controlled substance between 4 and 400 grams and possession of marijuana between 4 ounces and 5 pounds at 2:17 a.m. Thursday. Sparrow was in Smith County Jail Thursday with bonds of $200,000 and $100,000.

—Deputies charged Whitney Lea Teeler, 33, of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, with property theft worth under $2,500 with two or more previous convictions at 4:24 p.m. Wednesday. Teeler was in Smith County Jail Wednesday with a $50,000 bond.

—Deputies charged Tyelor Keiaire-Cameron Wingfield, of Tyler, with driving while intoxicated/100 days in Smith County Jail at 12:58 p.m. Wednesday. Wingfield was in Smith County Jail Wednesday and released the same day.

—Deputies charged Emilia Zeno, 39, of Lindale, with assault causing bodily injury against a family member at 10:55 p.m. Wednesday. Zeno was in Smith County Jail Wednesday with a $1,000 bond.

—Police charged Bobby Ray Bonnette, 42, of Troup, with driving while intoxicated/open alcohol container and possession of a penalty group three controlled substance under 28 grams at 6:28 a.m. Thursday. Bonnette was in Smith County Jail Thursday and released the same day. He had bonds of $1,500 and $500.

—Police charged Nicholas Avila, 18, of Tyler, with possession of a penalty group two controlled substance between 4 and 400 grams at 2:47 p.m. Wednesday. Avila was in Smith County Jail Wednesday and released the same day. He had a $10,000 bond.

—Officers charged Micah Gage Shelburne, 21, of Troup, with evading arrest or detention with a vehicle at 6:08 p.m. Wednesday. Shelburne was in Smith County Jail Wednesday with no bond set.

—Officers charged John Moses Thompson III, 30, of Killeen, with forgery of financial instrument at 1:50 p.m. Wednesday. Thompson was in Smith County Jail Wednesday and released the same day.

—Troopers charged Elizabeth Karol Kovarik, 26, of Tyler, with possession of a penalty group one controlled substance under a gram and possession or delivery of drug paraphernalia at 3:13 a.m. Thursday. Kovarik was in Smith County Jail Thursday with bonds of $2,500 and $255.

—Troopers charged Chad Nicholas Merchant, 30, of Troup, with possession or delivery of drug paraphernalia and an expired motor vehicle registration at 5 p.m. Wednesday. Merchant was in Smith County Jail Wednesday and released the same day. He had two bonds of $500 each.

—The constable’s office charged John Philip Thomson, 41, of Lindale, with possession of a penalty group one controlled substance under a gram, possession of a penalty group one controlled substance between 1 and 4 grams and possession of marijuana under 2 ounces at 3:03 p.m. Wednesday. Thomson was in Smith County Jail Wednesday with bonds of $5,000, $1,500 and $1,000.
