Business owners are putting the finishing touches on one-of-a-kind displays ahead of Thursday’s 2020 B2B Expo.

This year’s Business to Business Expo will be one of the largest ever, with 150 vendors. Tyler Area Chamber of Commerce Chief Operating Officer Henry Bell said there was such a demand for booths that an extra hall is being opened up at Harvey Convention Center to accommodate more businesses.

“They’re going have a wide variety of businesses with information on their goods and services that they have to offer in the community,” Bell said. “The whole point is to get them to network so they can see what’s available in our area, so they don’t have to go find those goods and services elsewhere, and keep our dollars local.”

Bell said the Expo presents a great opportunity for business owners to meet and network with other business owners.

“That’s the whole point in this digital world, you don’t see people’s face anymore,” he said. “I would think as a new business owner, it would even be bigger because if your business is new to the area, you really need to get the information out.”

Motivational speaker and entrepreneur Tyler Jack Harris will discuss networking, leveraging partnerships and client base during the Expo’s annual luncheon.

Tickets to the Expo are free with presentation of a business card, or $5 per person otherwise. Tickets to the luncheon are $25.
