An Aryan Circle member from Midland is now in custody after a manhunt Friday, according to the Hawkins Police Department.
Ronald Riva, 44, who was considered armed and dangerous, fled from the police department Friday afternoon.
Wood County Precinct 2 Constable Kelly Smith said Riva is a confirmed member of the Aryan Circle, a neo-Nazi and white supremacist prison gang.
Riva was being tracked by K9s, which took law enforcement to the Farm-to-Market Road 14, according to Smith's Facebook post.
"He is not from this area, does not have a cell phone and has limited options," according to Smith's Facebook post.
During the search, Smith said they were leaning on the community in finding Riva.
A helicopter was deployed for the search.
Hawkins Police Department thanked the other law enforcement agencies for their teamwork, according to a Facebook post.
Hawkins ISD was on lockdown, but students were released at their regular time, according to the district.
