Retired NASA engineer Charles Price spent five decades helping the space agency reach the stars.
Price will give several presentations this summer as NASA continues to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo Program.
The Tyler native worked on projects involving the Apollo Moon Mission, space shuttles, International Space Station and more as an employee and contractor for NASA.
He’ll share his experience during the Chandler Historical Society’s “Brunch and Learn” event at the Chandler Community Center at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
That evening he’ll speak to cadets with the civil air patrol at Tyler Pounds Regional Airport, and will also speak at the Center for Earth and Space Science at Tyler Junior College at 3 p.m. on July 13.
