Fonda Latham, executive director of the Samaritan Counseling Center of Tyler, was interviewed on this week's Tyler Chamber Radio show.

The Samaritan Counseling Center is in need of urgent funding for military veterans counseling. Therapy services include adult, couples and relationships, young adult, parents and parenting, child, adolescent, college and career counseling, grief trauma and loss, substance abuse and addiction, clergy and congregational care and spiritual direction. The Clinical Staff are certified and/or state licensed in their professional disciplines. The counselors will also be trained and supervised to help clients build upon their faith resources when appropriate. Clinical services are available to people of all faith traditions and to those who do not claim a religious identity.

The center is a nonprofit and as such will be able to provide services to many in the community who would otherwise not be able to afford counseling. Located at 100 E. Ferguson, Suite 608, (inside the Regions Bank Building), the center can be reached at 903-593-9141 or www.scctyler.org.

Businesses on the show include Kristin Jones, owner of Learning Enhancement; Zach and Rachel Vassar, independent distributors of AdvoCare; and Gabe Canal, general manager of Aaron's.

Tyler Area Chamber of Commerce Chief Operating Officer Henry Bell also will be on the show, found at TylerPaper.com.
