Ticket sales have begun for the Tyler Area Builders Association's 2015 Parade of Homes. The event will take place from June 6 to 14.
"The building industry is vitally important to our community," Mayor Martin Heines said. "It helps power the economic engine of East Texas."
More than 4,000 visitors toured the parade last year.
Hours for the 62nd Parade will be: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday; 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday; 5 to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday; and 3 to 8 p.m. Friday.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. A list of ticket sale locations is available at TylerAreaBuilders.com. A portion of ticket proceeds will be donated to Christian Homes & Family Services and Hope Haven of East Texas.
The homes featured in this year's tour will highlight the latest in home building trends and technology, the group says. The homes are located throughout the Tyler area with homes in Bullard, Flint, Lindale, Tyler and Whitehouse.
The ticket sponsor is Texas Bank and Trust. Rooftop sponsors are Sherwin Williams, Texas National Bank and StrucSure Home Warranty.
