Gollob Morgan Peddy announced that John Trejo has recently been promoted to supervisor in the Tax Department. Graduating from The University of Texas at Tyler with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in accounting in 2014, Trejo received his CPA license in 2016. He specializes in U.S. tax compliance and reporting obligations for international companies and individuals.


Regions Bank has announced the hiring of Brad Bunt as a Small Business Administration Commercial Banker for its East Texas and North Louisiana markets.

Bunt will be responsible for developing and managing the bank’s SBA program, which provides loans to help small businesses start, build and grow through partnerships with the U.S. Small Business Administration. He will be involved with creating strategies to originate SBA loans in the marketplace.

“Brad’s extensive SBA knowledge, his industry experience and his commitment to excellence make him a natural fit for the role of SBA Commercial Banker for Regions Bank,” said Chad Cargile, Commercial Banking Executive and Market Executive for Tyler and Longview. “He is a highly regarded and recognized leader in the SBA community for the partnerships he has established with small business owners.”

An SBA-lending veteran of nearly three decades, Bunt previously served as director of the North Central Texas Small Business Development Center serving Denton, Cooke and Montague counties. He also served as director of the Kilgore College Small Business Development Center, a role he began in 1991.


Gollob Morgan Peddy PC Certified Public Accountants announced the addition of Lena Burke to the firm. Graduating from The University of Texas at Tyler in 2019, Burke received her BBA in accounting. Her primary focus will be in the area of taxation.

Gollob Morgan Peddy announced Jesus Pineda Jr. was recently promoted to an Audit Senior position in the firm. Pineda graduated from The University of Texas at Tyler with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in accounting in 2016.

Clint Cooper was recently promoted to a manager position in the Tax Department at Gollob Morgan Peddy. He graduated Cum Laude from The University of Texas at Tyler with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in accounting in 2009. After receiving his MBA in 2012, Cooper obtained his CPA license in 2016.


Gov. Greg Abbott has reappointed Paula Anthony-McMann, Ph.D., chief strategy officer for UT Health East Texas, to the Texas Health Services Authority Board of Directors for a term set to expire in June 2021.

“I am honored to continue to serve the Texas Health Services Authority, which is charged with facilitating the secure exchange of clinical information among healthcare providers, both within the state of Texas and across the nation,” Anthony-McMann said. “The promise of electronic health records installed in Texas hospitals and physician offices gives the ability for appropriate clinical information to follow the patient, wherever he/she happens to be. This vision has yet to become a reality.”

In addition to her position at UT Health East Texas, Anthony-McMann, of Tyler, is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, a member of the Healthcare Information Management Systems Society and the Academy of Human Resource Development. She is a member of the Texas Hospital Association Foundation Board of Directors, and previously served on the board of directors for the American Hospital Association — Solutions Division, CASA for Kids of East Texas, Tyler Area Chamber of Commerce and Tyler Area Economic Development Council.

Anthony-McMann received Bachelor of Arts in biology and psychology from Wesleyan University, a Masters of Business Administration from Case Western Reserve University, and a Doctorate of Philosophy in human resource development from The University of Texas at Tyler.
