New KOA Campground opens in Canton’s Silver Spur Resort
Kampgrounds of America has opened a site within the Silver Spur Resort, 13785 Texas Highway 19, Canton.
“The restaurant and KOA make up the largest part of our resort,” says Jack Woodward, developer and general partner. “We decided on a KOA based on advice of a campground consultant who came in and did a feasibility study. He laid out our options to become a KOA, a different franchise or independent. We felt it was important that we have the KOA brand recognition.”
Guests of the campground can eat at the restaurant and brewery, have access to a pool, the outdoor bandstand and the escape room, he said.
