Regions Bank has announced that Michelle Balfay has joined the bank as a commercial relationship manager for Tyler and surrounding East Texas communities. She will establish banking relationships with large companies, as well as partner with fellow business groups to deliver comprehensive solutions to business clients.

“Michelle’s credit expertise and loan experience make her a natural fit for the role of commercial banking manager,” said Tara Odell, East Texas Market Executive for Regions Bank. “Her proven track record in supporting business clients aligns with our commitment to providing top-tier service. We’re pleased to add Michelle to our already strong team as we continue to grow in East Texas.”

Balfay brings 10 years of banking and real estate experience to this role. She was a commercial underwriting manager for Southside Bank, served as an escrow assistant, credit loan processor and commercial credit analyst.

She earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Tyler, graduating summa cum laude. She also obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from UT Tyler.
