John Berry, platinum-selling singer and songwriter, is headed to Tyler for a night of hit songs in his signature, soaring vocal style at the Caldwell Auditorium.
Berry will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Over the course of his career, Berry has produced seven top ten hits on Billboard's "Hot Country Songs," including his No. 1 single, "Your Love Amazes Me." Additionally, Berry was the Country Music Association's "Horizon Award" winner and was nominated for "Best Male Vocalist" in 1995. He has been inducted into the Modeling Association of America's Hall of Fame (role model, not fashion) for his charitable work with organizations such as the American Red Cross and cystic fibrosis foundations. Berry has recorded on own imprint, Clear Sky Records, since 2004. His down-to-earth manner and storytelling abilities are trademarks of his continued success.
Berry is just one of the six exclusive acts coming to town via Live On Stage, in association with Tyler Community Concert Association. The 2013-14 season also includes pianist/comedian Dale Gonyea, actor/singer Franc D'Ambrosio, the jazz virtuosos of Bach to the Future, genre-defying musician Jesse Lynch and classic rock and roll quartet The Diamonds.
D'Ambrosio, best known for playing the title role in Andrew Lloyd Webber's "The Phantom of the Opera," has appeared on both stage and screen and currently tours worldwide with his one-man show featuring a wealth of popular Broadway and silver screen songs.
Bach to the Future, meanwhile, have evolved from a rock band to performing the group's unique jazz and world music-flavored arrangements of classical symphonic pieces.
The Diamonds are the continuation of the million-selling rock and roll group from the '50s and '60s. The group's legacy hits include "The Stroll" and "Little Darlin'."
Season tickets to the six concert package are $70. Single tickets for this event are $30. For more information, or to purchase tickets, visit the association's website at www.tcca.biz or call 903-592-6266.
