Women's endurance event set for April 30

Local endurance event production and coaching company iTRI365 has partnered with Kiepersol Estates Winery and HealthFirst to produce the first-ever female-only endurance event in East Texas. Coined "The Diva Du," the event is a duathlon set for April 30 and will consist of a 1.5-mile run and 10-mile bike.

Located at Kiepersol Estates Vineyard, the event will take athletes through a beautiful course around the vineyard and surrounding neighborhood. Set the weekend before Mothers' Day, Race Director Cori Moore hopes to attract mothers, daughters, sisters and friends of all abilities and skill.

The duathlon race is chip-timed, and will award prizes to the top three overall winners, as well as age group winners. The Diva Du will also include a charcuterie brunch and Kiepersol's extraordinary wine afterwards at the venue, and all participants will receive a finishers' medal.

Sponsorship opportunities are available and online registration will open soon. For more information, visit www.itri365.com.
