BOOK

WHO: Carrie Wright, Tyler

WHAT: "Are You My Mother?" by P. D. Eastman.

WHY: My dad used to read that to me when I was little, and I have fond memories of it. It's another feel-good, sweet story.

FOOD

WHAT: Cheddar cheese grits and jalapeño cheesy corn bread!

WHY: Because it's … delicious, that's why!

INSPIRATION

WHO: Margo Fritz, Tyler

WHO: Mother

WHY: My momma. Warrior princess, logistical coordinator extraordinaire, caregiver, boss, family woman and shoulder to cry on. She's one tough cookie. She lives her life to the fullest and genuinely wants to share that with everybody she can. She's taught me all of those qualities. I strive to be like her on a daily basis.

MOVIE

WHO: Holly D. Rand, Tyler

WHAT: "Sweet Home Alabama"

WHY: Because "you can't have roots and wings!"

MUSIC

WHO: Roy Maynard, Tyler

WHAT: Bruce Springsteen's "The Rising"

WHY: It was the right album at the right time, about a year after the 9-11 attacks. It was very hopeful.
