Calvary Commission will celebrate its 36th anniversary at the Annual Breakthrough Prayer and Missions Conference Aug. 29 through Sept. 2 at the World Commission Center at Creekwood Ranch in Lindale.

The conference opens at 10 a.m., 2:00 p.m. and 7 p.m., continuing with three sessions daily through Saturday with a special "Kids Konference" led by Jody Fauss each night, featuring a Treasure Theme "Cherishing Our Godly Heritage."

Conference speakers include Waldy Gonzalez, Pastor of Asamblea de Dios Church in Havana. Waldy is the son of district superintendent of the Assemblies of God from Havana, Cuba. Other speakers include Rick Dubose, the Assemblies of God North Texas district superintendent; Colin Hurt, a missionary to Malaysia; Pastor Willie Sendejo from the Christian Worship Church; Tina Hill, vice president of student affairs at Calvary International Bible Institute; and Dr. Joe Fauss, international director of Calvary Commission.

The conference will focus on missionary testimonies, times of projected prayer, training and equipping for missions, and musical and dramatic productions.

The Aug. 31, session from 2 to 4:30 p.m. is titled "Honoring All Generations: Cherishing our Godly Heritage. The Past, Cherishing An Anointing For Today, and Preparing for the Next Generation."

The Sunday morning service will join Church of Living Hope for a pastoral and missionary message from Waldy Gonzalez. The 6 p.m. service the following Sunday will feature the graduation of the Calvary International Bible Institute and Theological Seminary students. The international director and president Dr. Joe Fauss will be delivering the commencement speech.

At 2 p.m. Sept. 2, there will be a special "Labor Day Bar-B-Q Blast" for a day of family fun. Activities include games, musical and drama presentations, carnival, fishing tournament, and lots of barbecue, served at 4 p.m. The Labor Day Blast is $5 per person or $15 per family.
