SPECIAL NEEDS MASS

The Diocese of Tyler will celebrate a Mass for families with special needs at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Sts. Peter and Paul Chapel, 1405 ESE Loop 323, in Tyler. A reception will follow at the chancery, 1015 ESE Loop 323, in Tyler. All families with children or adults with special needs are welcome to attend. MINISTER TO SPEAK AT JARVIS

The Rev. Bernard "Chris" Dorsey is scheduled to speak Thursday at Jarvis Christian College's 2016 J.N. Ervin Lecture. The lecture is part of the college's founders/homecoming festivities and starts at 11 a.m. in the Smith-Howard Chapel.

MEN'S CONFERENCE

The Community Christian Fellowship Men's Conference is scheduled for March 25 to 26. The conference, which has the theme "Get It", will include four sessions led by speakers Chris Liotta and Stuart Quartemont from Rivergate Church in Bryan. This is a time for men to do more than just "get along" or "get by." The Heavenly Father wants people to know him, know who they are and walk in. Walk-ins are welcome. The conference begins at 7 p.m. Friday and ends at 3:30 p.m. Saturday. Box lunch is included in registration fee. Cost is $45.
