Visit any Taylor Heard concert and you will immediately know why this little lady is a Rising Star now being embraced by Nashville, Tenn.

Every song introduction is full of small town country girl shtick, but every song sung is the voice of a grown angel telling her story with passion. She is model beautiful, but full of a down-to-earth personality that just fills the room. Taylor has a way of singing and chatting with her huge following of fans, which makes you feel like you are part of her family. Taylor writes her own songs and truly loves to perform. She said, "It makes me happy to make others happy through my music and I want to share it with the world." You can tell this girl has a deep spiritual commitment to service.

This singer/songwriter started out just like any other country music queen but in a small East Texas town. Singing songs she would hear on the radio and performing in front of friends and family, she developed a unique style with a sultry, alto voice. She also taught herself how to play guitar and started performing in churches, for charities, at special events, jamborees, county fairs and now opry houses.

In 2010, Taylor was the winner of Neal McCoy's competition for his East Texas Angel Network in Longview and has also performed with Neal in Branson, Mo. Taylor is now the "Texas Country Music Hall of Fame Representative for 2013, winning the prestigious John Ritter Showcase in Carthage. That same event won her the People's Choice Award as well. She shared the stage with opry greats such as Linda Davis, T.G. Shepherd, Jeannie Seely, Jim Ed Brown, Johnny Rodriquez, T. Graham Brown, David Frizzell and many more.

Taylor is seizing every opportunity to work. She has performed and written with Victoria Shaw, Don Rollins (writer of "It's Five O'clock Somewhere"), Doug Drake, Randy Travis, Stoney LaRue and Kevin Fowler, just to name a few. She said, "They have mentored me and had an impact on how I interpret music". Her latest project, due out this year showcases country, pop and even some rock and blues influences!

Catch her this Saturday at 7 p.m. in Carthage at the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame, Friday, September 13th 8 p.m. at Jakes Tyler in Downtown Tyler, Friday Sept. 20th at 6:30 p.m. at Hollytree Country Club in Tyler, or Saturday, Sept. 21st at 8 p.m. at Night of Super Stars Red Carpet Event at the Gaylord in Ft. Worth.
