What's new in theaters? Check it out below.

"Gravity"

What's it about? Two astronauts (George Clooney and Sandra Bullock) must find a way to survive in space after their shuttle is struck by debris.

Will it be good? Even the trailers on this thing are some of the most intense and suspenseful things I've seen in theaters this year, so I can only imagine how white-knuckled I'm going to be watching the whole thing. This also marks the first film by director Alfonso Cuaron since 2006's "Children of Men," a spectacular film, so I can't wait for this.

Rated PG-13 for intense perilous sequences, some disturbing images and brief strong language.

"Runner Runner"

What's it about? A college kid (Justin Timberlake) attempts to go after the rich billionaire who he thinks cheated him in an online poker game.

Will it be good? This looks to have the depth of a kiddie pool, but it looks fun enough for what it is, which is a high-speed thriller with some over-the-top performances, particularly from Ben Affleck. This won't be anything spectacular, but probably worth a matinee.

Rated R for language and some sexual content.
