Country singer and songwriter Kacey Musgraves will hold a concert in Mineola in September to raise money for art and music programs in Wood County schools.

The concert is being billed as Kacey's Hometown Hang and will take place at the Mineola Nature Preserve, organizers announced.

Tickets will cost $25 in advance and $35 at the door. A VIP ticket will cost $150, the announcement said.

Tickets will go on sale later this summer.

Musgraves, who grew up in Mineola, rocketed to fame after "Same Trailer, Different Park," an album released in 2013 which produced several hits, including "Merry Go Round," and earned her two Grammy Awards. It also was the 2014 Country Music Association's Album of the Year.

She recently released a new album, "Pageant Material."
