All Saints middle school leader receives Silver Beaver

Kevin Crossno, All Saints Episcopal School's Head of Intermediate and Middle School, recently received The Boy Scouts of America's Silver Beaver Award at the Last Frontier Council's Recognition Banquet in Oklahoma City. 

The Silver Beaver Award is the Boy Scouts of America's council-level distinguished service award. The organization honored Crossno for his work as an adult leader positively affecting youth through his service to the council, according to an All Saints news release. 

The award recognizes his dedication to implementing the Scouting program and performing community service through hard work, self sacrifice, dedication and many years of service.

His involvement with the Boy Scouts dates to his childhood when he earned an Eagle Scout in addition to other awards.

As an adult, he has served as a Cubmaster, Webelos leader, Troop Committee member, Troop Committee chairman and district advancement chair, according to the news release.

He was a den leader when his sons became active in Scouting. He is married to Stephanie, who has been an integral part of his scouting work as well.
