In the early hours of December 20, 2017, John Mazurik, 83, peacefully took his last breath on earth at The Hospice of East Texas with his wife at his side.
John was born in Marblehead, Ohio June 30, 1934 to the late Michael and Anna Mazurik.
After growing up in Ohio, he moved to California in 1959 and had a 32 year career in the soft drink beverage industry with the Seven-Up/RC Bottling Co of So. California. He retired in 1996.
In 2000, after relocating to Tyler with his wife Judy, John enjoyed years of golfing at (Briarwood) Cascades Golf Club and auction/car trades driving for Classic Toyota. He faithfully attended Grace Community Church.
John is survived by Judy, his wife of 39 years, brother, Paul Mazurik, son Daniel Mazurik, stepdaughters Lisa McCollom and Kelly White, grandsons, great grandchildren and a loving extended family.
The family is hosting a celebration of John's life luncheon for friends on Saturday, January 20th from Noon to 2 p.m. at the Clubhouse of Hamilton West condos, 1521 Rice Rd, Tyler.
