The Tyler Police Department, in conjunction with the Texas Department of State Health Services and Texas Department of Transportation, will be holding a Safety Seat Checkup that is open to the public.

This is a great opportunity to ensure that children’s safety seats are put in correctly and securely to keep children as safe as possible, the police department said.

It is first come first serve from 3 to 6 p.m. on Friday, May 10 at the Tyler Police Department Faulkner Police Station located at 574 W. Cumberland in Tyler.
