The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Monday that the body of a missing Log Cabin woman was found Friday in Cedar Creek Lake.

The sheriff’s office joined in the search for Montanez on Feb. 8.

Officials conducted a search of Cedar Creek Lake and found her body inside her vehicle.

Sheriff Botie Hillhouse said there was water in her lungs, but there were no other signs of trauma. 

He said there were no signs of foul play. 

Hillhouse said his office is still waiting on results of toxicology tests and autopsy results.
