Design Day for the new Gassaway Park is set for 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Glass Recreation Center, 501 W. 32nd St.

We will design the new playground for Gassaway Park, located on 2921 Martha St. and kick off our KaBOOM! project.

Kids will design their dream playground at 4 p.m. Then adults will discuss what aspects of play spaces are important to them at 5 p.m. There will be separate activities for the kids to participate in during the adult design portion.
