In-store kiosks coming to Brookshire stores

Brookshire Grocery Co. and Pizza Hut representatives will gather for ribbon-cutting ceremonies Monday to celebrate Pizza Hut’s first grocery store kiosks in the grocery chain’s stores.

Monday’s ceremonies will be 10 a.m. at Super 1 Foods, 3828 Troup Highway, and 11 a.m. at Brookshire’s, 2734 E. Fifth St.

The Pizza Hut kiosks will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and will offer personal pizzas, pastas, hot wings, Hershey’s chocolate chip cookies, and Parmesan and pretzel bites.

Dr. Christopher A. Perro joins UT Health EAST TEXAS

Board-certified otolaryngologist and facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon Dr. Christopher A. Perro has joined the UT Health East Texas Ear, Nose and Throat Center at Three Lakes in Tyler.

“As a physician and surgeon, I value most the trusted relationship that exists between my patients and me,” Perro said.

Besides general ENT, Perro has special interest in facial rejuvenation, which includes both nonsurgical and surgical options like Botox, dermal fillers, face and neck lift, brow lift, upper- and lower-eyelid lift and skin resurfacing.

Local dentist speaks at Dallas symposium

Dr. Richard H. Coker was speaker at Helm Dental Lab’s “New Technology in Dentistry” symposium in Dallas on Nov. 8.

Coker spoke about the advantages of using the T-Scan occlusal analysis system on patients with face and neck pain or discomfort. The T-Scan is a digital way of measuring a person’s bite (the way their teeth come together) and is something that dentistry hasn’t had before, according to a news release from the dentist’s office. With the T-Scan, the dentist, as well as the patient, can see the results on a computer monitor.
