SMITH COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Deputies charged Kevin Deshaun Crawford, 40, of Tyler, with engaging in organized criminal activity. Crawford was in the Smith County Jail on Monday without bond.

Deputies charged Marina Katherine Kengle, 39, of Tyler, with possession controlled substance penalty grade 1/1-B less than 1 gram and driving while intoxicated third or more. Kengle was in the Smith County Jail on Monday on bonds totaling $775,000.

Deputies charged Demetrius Vaughn, Jr., 18, of Longview, with possession marijuana less than 2 ounces and unlawful carrying weapon. Vaughn was in the Smith County Jail on Monday without bond.

TYLER POLICE DEPARTMENT



Officers charged Jaylen Bershaud Amie, 19, of Tyler, with two counts aggravated assault with deadly weapon and theft of firearm. Amie was in the Smith County Jail on Monday on bonds totaling $450,000.

Officers charged Sawan Nitesh, 27, of Tyler, with assault causes bodily injury. Nitesh was in the Smith County Jail on Tuesday on a $1,500 bond.

SMITH COUNTY ADULT PROBATION

Officers charged Nesa Mari May, 31, of Tyler, with two counts forgery financial instrument between $2,500 and $30,000, evading arrest detention with vehicle, and fraud use/possession indentifying information number of items between 10 and 50. May was in the Smith County Jail on Monday without bond.

Officers charged Jeffrey Lynn Dinkins, Jr., 41, of Lindale, with injury child/elderly/disable with intent bodily injury. Dinkins was in the Smith County Jail on Monday and released the same day on a $50,000 bond.
