JARROD LAWRENCE MEYER

A memorial service for Jarrod Lawrence Meyer, 37, of Tyler, will be held on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Stewart Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Blaine Davis officiating under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home.

Jarrod passed away Thursday, September 27, 2018 in Flint. He was born August 15, 1981 to James “Jim” Lawrence Meyer and Suzanne Keester Meyer.

Jarrod was the founder and very driven owner of Jarrod’s Lawn and Landscaping. He built it from the ground up at an early age and provided a great life for his wife and children. He was an incredible daddy, their constant cheerleader. He married his best friend and together they travelled, raised their family and made so many memories. He was a true original, that could light up any room with his smile and bigger than life personality. He will be missed by so many.

He is survived by his loving family including his wife of eleven and a half years, Kristi Meyer; children, Hannah, Jacob, Jackson and Kylie Meyer; his parents, Jim and Suzanne Meyer; his sister, Jennifer Heinrich along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and friends that were like family. Jarrod was preceded in death by his grandparents, Larry “Papa” Meyer, Leona Meyer, Col. John Keester, and Jaqueline Felicite Keester

Visitation is scheduled directly following the service at Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Highway, in Tyler. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society at 1301 S. Broadway, Tyler, TX 75701, would be greatly appreciated as Jarrod’s mother is a breast cancer survivor.
