Tyler Hispanic Business Alliance President Nancy Rangel said the organization created the local event because of the growing population of Hispanics and because there are no other events quite like it in the area.
Rangel said the event is family-friendly and will feature live entertainment by folkloric dancers, Aztec dancers and a mariachi band. The event also features food trucks selling Latin American cuisine, activities for children and an array of vendors.
There is no charge to attend the event and it is open to the public.
“We hope (people) can come out and enjoy a great time with live music,” Rangel said. “It’s a cultural experience. Who doesn’t love tacos and live music?”
