Mrs. Clopton died in August 23 at her home in Tyler, Tx. She was 96 years young, born Feb. 28, 1922 in Forman, N.D.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hilliard Funeral Home in Van. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Scottsboro, AL at a later date.

Mrs. Clopton graduated from University of North Dakota in 1944 and spent the majority of her life being a homemaker and mother.

Her husband, John B. Clopton, and son, William Lee Clopton, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Louis Honc of Palestine, TX; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Dunaway of Seaford, DL and six remaining nieces and nephews.

If desired memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Children’s Village, 3659 FM 724, Tyler, TX.
