I’m so proud of each of these guys and the season they had,” UT Tyler coach Michael McMunn said. “These three guys played in every round of golf for us this year. The positive impact these guys have had on our program is hard to put into words. I’m just lucky to get to say I’m their coach and watch them play a game we all love.”
Hill was a first-team selection. Uhlig was a second-team pick, and Perkins earned honorable mention honors.
Hill, a senior from Orlando, Florida, finished sixth at the NCAA Championship tournament. He’s a two-time PING All-American. Hill had seven finishes inside the top 10 as a senior and posted the lowest scoring average in program history (72.04).
Uhlig, a junior who transferred from McLennan Community College, won the Linda Lowery Invitational and the American Southwest Conference Championship.
Uhlig set a program record with 74 birdies during the season and matched Hill with 15 rounds of par or better, which set a new UT Tyler single-season record.
Perkins, a sophomore from Guernsey, Channel Islands, finished 12th at the NCAA Championships.
