Several businesses on South Broadway Avenue are without power following scattered heavy rain on Wednesday.

The Tyler VA clinic and Buffalo Wild Wings are among seven that were without power in the area as of 3 p.m. Wednesday.

Power had since been restored to the Tyler VA Clinic, but appointments at the time of the outage will be rescheduled.

Buffalo Wild Wings was told power were expected to be restored by 4 p.m.

Another four customers were out in near the Tyler Pounds Regional Airport and 19 outages were reported in the Jacksonville area.

Oncor is reporting scattered outages caused by the rains.

Oncor spokesman Charles Hill said the outages are scattered and mostly caused by falling tree branches hitting power lines. Crews are working to get electricity restored. Hill expects all customers to be restored by late evening, he said.
