His presentation is free and open to the public.
Bush is the founder and CEO of Seraphic Group Inc., a Virginia-based company that explores solutions to global issues concerning health, ecology and energy.
Board certified in internal medicine, endocrinology/metabolism, and palliative care, Bush’s interests include providing the public with information that ultimately could compel companies to increase the availability of healthier foods and better health care.
His talk is titled “Getting at the Root Cause of Chronic Disease to Realize a New Foundation for Optimal Health and Performance.”
“The dramatic changes that have occurred over the last 30 years in our food, farming, and medical industries, has had a devastating impact on human health and disease,” Bush said in a prepared statement. “Unfortunately, the impact has been greatest in the children born into this era of cradle-to-grave antibiotics. Common chemicals in our food and water systems have exploited this vulnerability, resulting in direct damage to the tight junctions that compose the natural firewalls at the gut/blood and blood/brain barriers.”
In the lecture, Bush will speak on how new discoveries can lead to better health for future generations.
