Bill - wait a minute! I don't insist on using labels. Every single person, including the all mighty Bill Pelland, uses labels every day. Especially in politics. If it makes you feel better to accuse me of that, go ahead.
I know what I believe. And I know what I believe is right. It may be brunt and brutal but it is honest.
We are not all the same - we all have opinions of others and are prejudice to some degree. We can't help it - we are sinful people. Please don't sit too high on the pedestal - you may fall off.

Heidi - This is what I was talking about when I mentioned the use of labels. It really was not about you. It was a response from Bill Bala.
The hallmark of a liberal is to bad mouth the ones who do the most work on their behalf. Never fails. Oil companies pay far more in taxes than they make as profit. Liberal candidates claim they can take a gas tax holiday by tapping those profits. No chance. The numbers don't lie. Same with this guy. It's a good bet his music was held in high regard by a lot of people who didn't survive 9/11. His acknowledgement is inhumane.
This logic is flawed. 1st Bill makes a generalization about people who he doesn't agree with by trying to hang the label LIBERALon them. Next he moves to oil profits and taxation which has nothing to do with the original subject he is writing about and finally brings up 9/11 somehow trying to associate that tradgedy with the LIBERAL PHILOSOPHY.
He says numbers don't lie but offers none. My response to him was to ask him to please define himself by stating what he thinks the role of government should be.
