I see you have found you another Obamamite Kool-Aid drinker. A number of us have written in about why we disagree with Obama on various issues, but you continue to see anyone who disagrees with "The Great One" as being racist. What other explanation could there be for anyone who would dane to disagree with the Almighty BHO. At least none of us have ever talked about removing parts of his anatomy!

I do not drink Kool-Aid. I guess that comment was making an assumtion about our ages???? I am also not in the typical young Obama-supporter target age bracket. But I don't know, maybe that's not even what you meant.
I love that your opinion differs from mine. If it weren't for people like us, moderation wouldn't exist. You have to have extremes to form an average middle ground, which seems to be the best way to operate (like a system of checks and balances).
I realize that my using the term "racist" may have been misleading - I wasn't refering to Obama's race, I was refering to people who don't like/ are afraid of people from the Middle East in the context of illuminating Obama's middle name. Just because someone's name is Hussein doesn't mean they are a terrorist, just like someone's name is Smith doesn't mean they are a decendant of the wacky man who "discovered" Mormanism. Maybe I'm wrong about Obama's middle name being used to play on people's fears. It seems that it happens that way to me, but that is just my opinion and I don't mean to project my opinion as truth.
Carry on with your vote, I will carry on with mine. That, after all, is why I am proud to call this country my home.

You know Marvin, you seem like you have the potential of being a reasonable man and I know you do not believe Barack Obama is the correct choice (Yet) but I only questioned race in my writings to see if the reader had the capacity of self-examination.
I believe all of us are racist to a point and often stop to look at my beliefs regarding another person to see if maybe there is not some bias that still dwells within this 64 year old white male.
Frankly, in your case, and at your age, on cobra with a pre-existing condition, I have trouble understanding why you would not vote for a candidate that put forth the better health care solution.
I do not have health insurance for the same reason as you but will be on medicare soon with a supplemental policy. My problem will be solved.
My vote is for someone in your position so you do not have to face the situation I"ve been in. John McCain's health care plan is a nightmare and will only aggrevate the health care crisis in this country.
Still, McCain IS YOUR GUY and SHOOTING YOURSELF IN THE FOOT seems the way that people vote, so carry on. However, it would seem yours to be the more likely KOOL-AIDE senario. lol lol lol
