It sounds like some people don't know their history. When this country was first established, it was common for lawmakers and others in political leadership to seek the advice of Christian ministers. They wanted and sought out the Christian perspective. The framers of the Constitution did not intend to prevent Christian influence in government. Rahter they wanted to keep the government from infringing on Christianity (or any other religion).
