Cal,
Who cares? Does this look familiar?:

"...no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States."

You should care. It goes to his integrity and credibility if he claims to be something he isn't. It should be the same for everyone, especially those who seek an influential position.

Virginia! VERY WELL PUT!

It's very amusing to watch the democrats who have been trumpeting about all the perceived deceit and lies by the republican administration over the last few years, just go in hands down, no guard, and proclaim Barack Hussein Obama as their candidate with no investigation of his character or religious background.

For a group that claims to have been lied to, you'd think they'd be extremely careful who they choose to represent their party and who they vote for.

Any investigation will show that Barack Hussein Obama is the most liberal voting Senator, and one of, if not, the most absent Senators. To be one of the most absent Senators and still be the most liberal voting Senator pretty much tells the story. Any investigation of his religious background puts up red flags to me and many others.

I think Barack Hussein Obama is a very good social organizer. That does not qualify him for President of the U.S. though. He's got a great speech and is presenting it well to a population that is ready for something new, and rightfully so. The voting population is so hungry for change, they're taking anything that is said hook line and sinker. Not me. National security, less government and personal responsibility are key issues to me.

Barack Hussein Obama is leading McCain 46 to 44 as of 9 July 2008. The age group Barack Hussein Obama is winning convincingly is the 18-29 group.
