The editor of this paper could put Cal Thomas in the sports section...and what Cal's editorial is saying would still be true!!!
NOBODY can claim to be a Christian without recognizing Jesus as the one and only Savior for mankind.
This is just more rhetoric and slick talking from a master orator. The more I read about Obama, the more I'm reminded of a scene from The American President:

Leadership requires conviction not pandering. Both of these current candidates have been "wishy-washy" on certain political issues. But when it comes to core values, I believe that Barack Hussein Obama is a sandy mirage.
It's not a requirement to be a Christian to be President, but it is a requirement for my vote.

While your view is opposing to mine, I enjoyed the quote from American President and thought you were making an intellegent argument until I got to the part where you "Coulterized" yourself by illuminating Obama's middle name.
I don't care what his middle name is. Hussien, hussien, hussien - yeah, still not scared. But it's so obvious when conservatives throw it out there that they're doing their very best to play on people's racist fears. It's a technique that's worked since the beginning of time, but one I will fight until the day I die.
