You are way off base - employers should supply certain benefits for their employees if they are working full time and doing their job. At least they should pay partially for this - of course you speak out against welfare, but many of these people are on Medicad - which we as taxpayers must pay for this service. Ever heard of Parkland - the homeowners of Dallas county certainly have.

It is the responsiblity of the employer to provide a paycheck. It would be swell if all employers could afford to do so but it is not their job to do it.

I have worked for companies that did not provide benefits and guess what? I paid for my own. It was crummy insurance but I paid my own way.
