Liberals don't last long as editors. The guilt from not paying state income tax, city income tax, not having to buy city windshield stickers to be able to park at meters, and other government acutriments tends to drive them out of state. On top of that, they don't have much of a following.

Bill - Oklahoma has a lower overall tax burden than Texas according to data from the Tax Foundation. They base their calculations on data from the Bureau of Economic Analysis. Oklahoma does have a state income tax. Oklahoma overall tax burden for state,local, and federal is 27.8% for 2007. Texas is 29.8%. Go Figure.

Just thought you'd like to know.
